9 Month Check up

So we went in on Tuesday for Tristan's 9 month check up..He now weighs exactly 19lbs. He is 27 1/4 inchs long and his head measured 17 1/4 inchs. I was worried that he had a ear infection again cuz he is always sticking his fingers in them and pullin on them.But they were fine. The dr said they probably just ich. He says Tristan is a healthy lil fart. And he is advanced for his age. Tristan I think was showing off of him.He was standing and trying to walk to him. He was talking up a storm and telling the dr no when he tried to lay him town to feel his tummy..lol

Since I am updating this I might as well get the nine month post done before I forget..Tristan his talking like crazy. He says Momma Dadda Bye (and he waves when he says it) says wha(meaning what) Bobba (bottle) no(and he shakes his head while doing it) He claps his hands now..I don't know why but that is one of my faviorte things he does now..He looks so big when he does it..He is trying to say Yeah when he does it..but he still needs to practice that one.lol He is still trying to master the walking thing. He has taken 5 steps on his own. He had a nasty fall one day and I thought he broke his wrist..But turned out he was fine luckly..And since then he is a lil more carefull..But he will have it down before to long. I am trying to get him use to the sippy cup. He drinks from it..But I think it comes out quicker then the bottle cuz sometime he seems to choke on it.He is still on the stage 1 nipple. Since I nursed him so long he is use to that slow flow of milk and that is all he wants..He would be doing better with the sippy cup..But my daycare lady always "forgets" to give him the sippy cup.lol. SO we need to help her remember..lol. OH YEAH and Tristan blows kisses!!!!!!!!He does it in his own lil baby way..But it is super cute.He puts the back of his hand in his mouth makes this weird sound and moves his hand out real fast.It is cute..But hard to explain..lol Well going to get off of here.To whoever reads this..If anyone hope you have a good weekend!!:)

7-8 months

So it has been a while since I have updated this!!Sorry. I lost track of time!!I am always so busy trying to keep up with Tristan! He is growing so fast and learning new things it seems everyday!!He is crawiling now..He is quick to.When he sees something he wants he speed crawls. A week or so after he started crawiling reall good he started pulling himself up onto stuff. He takes a few steps while holding onto things..But he has not got brave enough to let go and try it on his own!lol Anywhere I go he crawls after me yelling MAMA. It is amazing how big he is getting already!!Sniff sniff We got new pixs of Tristan done. Kendi does a amazing job! Although when we got the pixs taken the first time it was a lot EASIER!!We could not get him to just sit. We would sit him down and then he would either want to stand or start crawiling..But we were still able to get a lot of beautiful pictures of him done!

One of the new things Tristan learned he could do is breath threw his nose really hard..When he gets excited he will start doing it. We are trying to show him how to blow his nose when he does it..But he thinks it is a game. I love it though. We can not get him to eat baby food. He wants our food. AND he don't want us to feed him. He is very independent and wants to feed him self. And he wants to eat ALL the time!!!!My lil piggy

He is finally getting teeth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I got home from work last Friday and he had my finger in his mouth..Like always and I felt something..I just figured it was something in there that was not suppose to be so I started to dig at his mouth and bumped his gums and felt his first tooth!!!!!It is barly breaking through. But it is there! THEN Saturday he was CRANKY!!!!!!!!!So I rubbed some oregal on there...........and the tooth next to the one that broke through is trying to come in also!!!!!!!!SO he has not been the most happiest camper..But we are getting through it! His Daddy and I have been doing all the trick we have been told that help!!SO if you have any teething remadies PLEASE let me know!!!!!!!!:)

Tristan also went swimming for the first time with his cousin Cayden..At first they were not to sure about it..I think the water was a little to cold for them..But when we put them on the stairs to play they had a blast. He went just last weekend also and I think they both enjoyed it a lot more this time. They had lil floates and thought they werer pretty cool splashing around! Going to end this now. My baby is waking up from his nap!!

Six month check up

So we went in today for Tristan's 6 month check up..He now weighs....drum roll please 16lbs 10ounces and he is 25 1/4 inches tall!! I guess he is tall for his age....BUT he is under weight by a few pounds..WHICH is amazing to me considering all the little chunk rolls going all down his arms and legs..lol. (tomorrow I will try and get a pic of him in just his diaper to put on here to show a recent chunky monkey baby..and how skinny he is lol he is in bed right now so can't do it tonight)The doc said it is nothing to worry about that he is a healthy baby boy and there is nothing to worry about. BUT of course I start worring. I thought the doc would think we were not feeding him enough so I started babbling on about how much he eats...and all that good stuff, the doc laughed and kept telling us that Tristan is fine. That he is just "a couple pounds" lighter then most babys his age. Anyways enough on that. So Tristan got his 6 month shots. He did NOT cry on the first two shots...He was kicking the nurse with his free leg..BUT when she went to put the tetnis (not sure if that is how you spell it but you should know what I am talking about) in the other leg..the leg that he was kicking her with...he got MAD when she held that leg down..He screamed and growlled but as soon as she let you he started kicking at her again. lol. Just thought I would share the experience with you all.....The three of you who read this...sometimes....lol

Month 4-5...

Ok for some reason I thought I posted the 4 month post...As you can see I was wrong lol....Where to begin...Tristan is growing so fast I can not believe it. Some times I look at him and he looks like my little new born baby...And other times he seems like such a big boy already.. He still loves his great Papa..He gets so excited to see him..or even here his voice..And Papa is teaching him a lot of fun things..Tristan growls and does this wiggle like Papa..We go over to my grandparents at least once a week and we just love our visits with them.. Tristan rolls over both ways now. I can lay him down on his back and with in second he is on his tummy and then he will get bored with that view and will roll back over the other way. He is working on the crawling thing..He has the motion down..Just needs to work on doing it all together..and getting over that puddgy tummy of his. He is more intrested in trying to walk though then crawling. We put him in the walker and he gets it moving around. He wants to be moblie already to get into everything.lol He can sit on his own..Unless he sees something he wants and then he gets to wibble wobbling until he tries to fall down to get what he wants. He is working on sitting up all on his own..But has yet to accomplish that..Soon though..Very soon I am sure he will have it down

Tristan found AND loves his tounge..He will just be sitting there playing and you can see his little tounge just agoing in and out.He is my little lizzard

He gets excited at times and gets his body all stiff and pants (the only real way I can think to discribe it)..It is really funny to see..That is what he is doing in the picture above..He likes greenbeans a lot and after every bite he would get real excited..Weirdo..Don't know why he likes greenbeans his dad and I both don't like them.lol He loves his bites. His faviortes we found so far are carrots,greenbeans,sweetpotatos, and bannanas.We tried the meat and gravy and he hates it..It is kind of cute though. He makes this face and acts like he is gagging until he gets the taste off his tounge.

The Thanksgiving picture is at the top of this blog..Don't know why and am not smart enough to move it..haha Anyways Tristan loved his first Thanksgiving!!!! His Gammy Ruth and Uncle Dallas made it down to spend Tristan first Thanksgiving with him. He got mashed potatos and gravy for his dinner and tried and loved some of his Gammy's home made pumpkin pie for dessert. He ate a lot that day! I think he knew it was his day to be a porker..lol It was so nice to see his Gammy and Uncle Dallas..He just loves all the hugs and kisses he gets from them.

We spent Christmas at my mom and dad's.It was a lot of fun. We got to see Uncle Peewee and last time he seen Tristan he was only 6 days old (sniff sniff) Christmas was a lot of funTristan was more intrested in eating the packages then opening them. I would tear a little peice and show him and he would grab and pull and when a peice would break free STRAIGHT to the mouth it went. He got so many nice gifts and lots of loves from his Gamma and Papa and Uncles and all the family there. He also got to see his GG Carl while we were there. He gets excited to see his Gamma and Papa it is fun to see my parents with him. They act like little weirdo's with him.haha. Well I can not think of anything else for now..If I do..I am sure I will post it in another couple of months..haha SO until next time. Stay warm and hope all your holidays where good!

month 3

I still can not believe how fast my little man is growing up..Sniff Sniff! He is learning things so fast it just amazes me! He laughs out loud now!! It is really cute! My grandpa says he sounds like a little squicker toy.. Tristan will laugh almost for any little thing. He really is a happy baby. He grabs his feet all the time and trys to get them to his mouth. It is funny to hear him grunt and make all these sounds as he is in the process of doing so. He is now getting pretty good at taking off his socks...SO We now can find a lot of one sock..But can never find it mates..lol Tristan loves to be read to. He gets so excited he will start rocking himself on your knee as you read to him..So now anytime someone is talking a lot he gets excited like he is getting read to. haha
We went to Union ( I don't know why this went into under line mode..and don't know how to get it off..sorry!!lol) on Halloween. We went up there to have a photo shoot of the boy. My mom use to work with a awesome lady named Kendi and she has her own little studio and she took a TON of pics of the boy. I tried to get photos on here but not working right now..will try again later to add them.. Kendi took a hour and a half worth of pics and did such a amazing job!!! I just can not wait to go back to her..We are hoping to go back in Febuary for more photos. We just need to wait and see what the weather will be like then. We have been giving Tristan some rice cereal (mashed potatos&gravy also which he loves) he opens his mouth like a big boy and pretends he is chewing it is cute to watch. Any time we though and we are not feeding him he acts like he gets mad at us. So at dinner I have been trying to feed him also..PLUS sometimes it helps him sleep better at night. We have been putting him in his crib at night. Bill says he is getting to big for his craddle...But I still try to stuff him into it at times. He is getting use to his crib. He gets excited when we put him in it. We are trying to get him use to going to sleep on his own at night so we turn on his little fish light and wind up his moblie and lay him in his crib after I get done nursing him. BUT we might have to figure out something else besides the moblie though...He starts laughing and moving all around when we get it wond up and it starts moving and singing to him. He lays in there and laughs and talks to it..And then when it is done he gets mad and will scream until we wind it up again..lol. But he always seems to fall asleep after a couple times of this..Maybe watching the movment gets him dizzy and knocks him out haha. I keep trying to upload photos on here and it is being a pain in the ars so I think I am going to give up..Sorry.. I have been trying to add them for over a hour..SO if you are just going crazy wanting to see my sexxy little man go look at the pics on myspace...There is always a TON of them there..haha Talk to you all next month

Month 2...A completly differnet baby

I can not believe how fast the time is going already! It seems that I just had him..And then again I can not imagine my life before him! Everyday I find myself just watching him..Sleeping,eating anything he is doing just is so amazing to watch.. (I am going to be one of those creepy moms hiding around corners watching...spying...on their kids watch!lol) I went back to work on the first of October..I CRIED and CRIED and CRIED! I woke him up at 6:00 I woke him up to nurse him before I went to work.. And I started crying then..hehe. I was so nervous leaving him.. But he is doing AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! He has a lot of attention and love while I am gone..I call every break just to check on him. But for the most part he is a happy little fart!
He LOVES and I mean LOVES his Great Grandpa! He can be crying and I bring him over to talk to him and Tristan will stop crying (most of the time) and start smiling and talking back to him. It is amazing to watch the two of them together. Tristan will lean forward to but heads with His gg (greatgrandpa). Also my Grandpa NEVER holds babies. He is worried he will break them or something..But I will go close to grandpa and the next thing I know grandpa is taking him from me to sit him on his lap to play with him (which...I guess is a no no since he just had opened heart surgery!)
He loves being naked! When I get him naked he will quit crying and start kicking all over the place. He is also pretty happy just being in his diaper. It is cute to see his little naked body. He is starting to get little fat squishy rolls and I LOVE THEM!! He is my little michellen baby! (Not to sure how to spell it.)
My son is vain! He knows he is a beautiful boy! He likes mirrors. He gets excited to see his reflection...Untill he gets to excited and starts rocking back and forth and smacks his head..Poor baby! He is fasinated by his hands. They are always moving! He has them touching either each other or something at all times. I like it when he gets his little fingers locked together like he is praying..SUPER CUTE! He is starting to grasp things also..His poor tiger doll he is always sucking on its ear. He talks a LOT now!!! If you are talking while holding him he thinks you are talking to him and he gets all smily and will start to talk back!! I don't know who he gets the talking thing from..I don't talk that much!lol. He is over the colic thing!! PRAISE THE LORD! I honsetly don't know when it happend but he is a lot happier baby! It makes the evenings real nice now. He is on a pretty good scheudle now. I put him down at nine and he sleeps until six AND he don't do it all the time..BUT he has slept through the night 3 nights in a row! I did not though..I kept waking up to make sure he was breathing!!lol. Well It is WAY past my bed time. So I am going to close this off for now. Hope I did not bore you all!

The Rest of the First Month

Okay...So as you should remember from my prego blog...I suck at remembering to keep up with my blog.. Sorry! Tristan is a beautiful blessing. Every day he just surprises me at what he does! He is so alert it makes me wonder what he is thinking. He smiles ALOT and is almost getting laughing down. He started doind alot of cute little baby sounds..I LOVE IT!! Whenever we go out people always get people asking how old he is. When we tell them his age they tell us they can not believe how alert he is and how well he holds his head up.. Tristan watches everything that is moving around him it is amazing to watch him discover everything. I have been trying to get him use to taking a bottle during the hours I will be at work and that is a trying experience. He is use to getting boobie and is not liking the bottle at all. SO most of the day he throws a boobie fit. We went to Babies R Us and got a Breast Flow Technolagy Bottle. He is doing a little better taking that bottle. I guess the same way you nurse on a nipple is the same way you have to nurse on the bottle. SO keep your fingers crossed he gets a little better about taking the bottle. He weighed 11 lbs 5 ounces and 21 1/2 incehes long. So he gained two pounds in one month. He is still sleeping pretty good..on most nights. Every now and then he trys to stay awake from three to five but we are working on it. I have him getting use to a schedule at night. Bill gives him a bath everynight (we have this lavender baby was IT IS AMAZING it calms him down for the night!) and then I rub down his little body with lotion and then feed him and he is out! I can't believe how much I love this little man! I can't even describe how amazing he is to me! Everyday I find my self just watching him and smiling...I have never had this kind of love that I have for my son! I am sure there is like a million other things I wanted to put in here...But I can not think of anything right now and my dinner is ready so I need to get off of here. Just wanted to ad a quick up date..I will try to do better at posting up dates..
