Six month check up

So we went in today for Tristan's 6 month check up..He now weighs....drum roll please 16lbs 10ounces and he is 25 1/4 inches tall!! I guess he is tall for his age....BUT he is under weight by a few pounds..WHICH is amazing to me considering all the little chunk rolls going all down his arms and legs..lol. (tomorrow I will try and get a pic of him in just his diaper to put on here to show a recent chunky monkey baby..and how skinny he is lol he is in bed right now so can't do it tonight)The doc said it is nothing to worry about that he is a healthy baby boy and there is nothing to worry about. BUT of course I start worring. I thought the doc would think we were not feeding him enough so I started babbling on about how much he eats...and all that good stuff, the doc laughed and kept telling us that Tristan is fine. That he is just "a couple pounds" lighter then most babys his age. Anyways enough on that. So Tristan got his 6 month shots. He did NOT cry on the first two shots...He was kicking the nurse with his free leg..BUT when she went to put the tetnis (not sure if that is how you spell it but you should know what I am talking about) in the other leg..the leg that he was kicking her with...he got MAD when she held that leg down..He screamed and growlled but as soon as she let you he started kicking at her again. lol. Just thought I would share the experience with you all.....The three of you who read this...sometimes....lol

Month 4-5...

Ok for some reason I thought I posted the 4 month post...As you can see I was wrong lol....Where to begin...Tristan is growing so fast I can not believe it. Some times I look at him and he looks like my little new born baby...And other times he seems like such a big boy already.. He still loves his great Papa..He gets so excited to see him..or even here his voice..And Papa is teaching him a lot of fun things..Tristan growls and does this wiggle like Papa..We go over to my grandparents at least once a week and we just love our visits with them.. Tristan rolls over both ways now. I can lay him down on his back and with in second he is on his tummy and then he will get bored with that view and will roll back over the other way. He is working on the crawling thing..He has the motion down..Just needs to work on doing it all together..and getting over that puddgy tummy of his. He is more intrested in trying to walk though then crawling. We put him in the walker and he gets it moving around. He wants to be moblie already to get into everything.lol He can sit on his own..Unless he sees something he wants and then he gets to wibble wobbling until he tries to fall down to get what he wants. He is working on sitting up all on his own..But has yet to accomplish that..Soon though..Very soon I am sure he will have it down

Tristan found AND loves his tounge..He will just be sitting there playing and you can see his little tounge just agoing in and out.He is my little lizzard

He gets excited at times and gets his body all stiff and pants (the only real way I can think to discribe it)..It is really funny to see..That is what he is doing in the picture above..He likes greenbeans a lot and after every bite he would get real excited..Weirdo..Don't know why he likes greenbeans his dad and I both don't like them.lol He loves his bites. His faviortes we found so far are carrots,greenbeans,sweetpotatos, and bannanas.We tried the meat and gravy and he hates it..It is kind of cute though. He makes this face and acts like he is gagging until he gets the taste off his tounge.

The Thanksgiving picture is at the top of this blog..Don't know why and am not smart enough to move it..haha Anyways Tristan loved his first Thanksgiving!!!! His Gammy Ruth and Uncle Dallas made it down to spend Tristan first Thanksgiving with him. He got mashed potatos and gravy for his dinner and tried and loved some of his Gammy's home made pumpkin pie for dessert. He ate a lot that day! I think he knew it was his day to be a porker..lol It was so nice to see his Gammy and Uncle Dallas..He just loves all the hugs and kisses he gets from them.

We spent Christmas at my mom and dad's.It was a lot of fun. We got to see Uncle Peewee and last time he seen Tristan he was only 6 days old (sniff sniff) Christmas was a lot of funTristan was more intrested in eating the packages then opening them. I would tear a little peice and show him and he would grab and pull and when a peice would break free STRAIGHT to the mouth it went. He got so many nice gifts and lots of loves from his Gamma and Papa and Uncles and all the family there. He also got to see his GG Carl while we were there. He gets excited to see his Gamma and Papa it is fun to see my parents with him. They act like little weirdo's with him.haha. Well I can not think of anything else for now..If I do..I am sure I will post it in another couple of months..haha SO until next time. Stay warm and hope all your holidays where good!
